Architecture
LoanPath 3.0 is built on a service-oriented architecture (SOA) using the newest Java technologies. Using XML as an interchange format allows seamless data exchange between LoanPath and external applications.
LoanPath’s SOA offers the enterprise the most flexible platform for transaction management, ensuring that the business can adapt to rapidly changing environments. Any component of LoanPath can be swapped out, allowing an enterprise to mix and match components to meet a specific business need. This allows our customers to easily integrate components needed for constantly encountered scenarios such as acquisitions. For example, if an acquisition were to have a custom front end, it could still feed into LoanPath for activities such as underwriting or document generation.
LoanPath’s new scalable architecture can run on just about any application server on any OS (Linux and Windows preferred deployments). By using inexpensive open source application servers, scalability can be increased, without a commensurate increase in infrastructure licensing costs. LoanPath runs on an Oracle database and of course commercial application servers such as WebSphere, Oracle AS, and BEA are supported.

Flexible Architecture
LoanPath is designed from the ground up, with an open architecture and all data within LoanPath exists as XML. Data within LoanPath can be exposed through JMS queues and SOAP connectors and access can be provided through a variety of enterprise messaging system such as Tibco, MQ Series, or any java application. |
